Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Sanctification and a holy life are the fruits of justification. To remain justified, it is necessary for you to maintain a holy life. Hebrews 12:14 tells you, “Pursue peace with all men, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.” Living in sin is contrary to the nature and will of God, and becomes a stench in His nostrils. Some feel they can continue to be a Christian, and live a sinful life as well. They are mistaken, and unless they choose to change their ways, will find they will be rejected by the Lord in the end. You are to be a reflection of the character and nature of Jesus, which is wholly dedicated to the Lord. Remember, the Holy Spirit is here to help you live for the Lord, moment by moment. Allow Him to help you.
